Young apprentice engineer Ben Swain of the Leeds centre is pictured here receiving his NVQ level 3 diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Lift truck from Andy Dawson Regional Manager Northeast at recent regional road show.

Ben started work at the Leeds workshop as an apprentice engineer on 29th August 2006 and quickly became a firm favourite in the team and was one of the apprentices that completed the very first apprentices project trucks. Ben completed his 3 years training at Bristol College last year and he has now successfully moved to the Leeds field service team where he is continuing to develop his skills and we wish him well.

Bens workshop line manager Nigel Swain commented that it is very rewarding when you see any of your apprentices develop into young engineers after seeing all their hard work paying off.

Congratulations Ben and good luck in your future career with Barloworld Handling.
